My name is William. I grew up in Charlotte, NC playing junior golf alongside my buddy Al. We spent years chasing the dream of playing professional golf, and somewhere in the middle of an intense chipping contest, we started talking about how to make that dream sustainable.

A lot of ideas came and went. Then I landed on custom golf ball markers — something personal, handcrafted, and rooted in the game we both loved. That idea stuck.

What started as Johnston Gray Designs nine years ago has grown into something I'm genuinely proud of. We've made custom ball markers, divot tools, and canvas flags for players, clubs, tournaments, and moments worth remembering. All by hand, one at a time.

The rebrand to Willie's Golf Goods felt like the right next step. Same hands, same craft, same love for the game. Just a different name.
