Frequently Asked Questions

Each custom golf ball marker and divot tool is hand stamped, hand painted, and finished one at a time. Because of that, orders typically take 7-9 business days to make and ship. Worth the wait!

Copper and brass naturally change color over time as they age. This is called patina and it's completely normal. We actually love it because it makes each marker even more one of a kind. No two will ever look exactly the same.

Hand stamped markers are made one letter at a time using traditional metal stamps. They're great for names, initials, numbers, and simple designs. Each one has natural variation and comes with hand applied paint for contrast.
Laser engraved markers are better for logos, detailed artwork, and designs that can't be hand stamped. The finish is clean and precise with a subtle engraved look.
Not sure which is right for you? Reach out and we'll help you figure it out.

Pretty much anything! We have a wide variety of letter, number, and design stamps to work with. Names, phrases, dates, inside jokes — if it fits on a marker, we can probably make it happen.
Need a logo or detailed artwork? Check out our laser engraved options for that level of detail.

Each letter, number, and design stamp counts as one character. So "KEEP POUNDING" plus a paw print stamp would be 13 characters total.
We trust you to count accurately when placing your order. If your order comes in over what you paid for, we may reach out to collect the difference. Orders over 30 characters may have additional charges.

A golf ball marker is used to mark the position of your ball on the green so you can pick it up without losing your spot. It's a required part of the game and every golfer needs one.
Beyond the rules, a custom golf ball marker is a great way to show some personality on the course. Whether it's your name, a meaningful date, or just something that makes you laugh, it's one of the small details that makes the game yours.

Metal ball markers last longer, feel better in your hand, and look a lot cooler than plastic ones. Copper and brass develop a natural patina over time that makes each marker even more personal the more you use it.
They can also be custom stamped with names, phrases, or designs making them something you actually want to keep around. A plastic marker from the pro shop is fine. A hand stamped copper marker with your name on it is better.
-
Absolutely. Custom ball markers make one of the best groomsmen gifts out there for the golfer in your wedding party. We can hand stamp each one with initials, a name, a date, or anything that makes it personal. Order as few or as many as you need and we'll make each one by hand. Reach out if you want to talk through a custom order for your wedding.
-
Yes! We work with golf clubs, tournaments, corporate events, and groups of all sizes. Each marker is still made by hand so lead time matters for larger orders. If you need 10 or 100 we can make it work. Head to our Wholesale and Events page or reach out directly at hello@williesgolfgoods.com to get started.

A divot tool is used to repair ball marks on the green. When your ball lands on the putting surface it leaves a small indentation called a pitch mark. A divot tool lets you gently push the edges back up so the green heals properly. Every golfer should carry one. Ours are hand stamped and fully customizable so you can actually look good fixing your marks.
